FOUNDER & ENGINEER · SYDNEY
Hi, I’m Nicholas.
I build useful software.
I turn complex workflows into practical products.
At Ninnovate, I build education tools and agent systems.

About me
MY FOUNDATIONS + WHAT DRIVES ME
Understanding AI.
Building with purpose.
I’m a founder and engineer interested in the journey from a technical idea to something people can use. I enjoy understanding how a system works, asking what it could make possible, and working through the details that turn that possibility into useful software.
MY DEGREE
A foundation in how AI works.
I graduated from the University of Technology Sydney with First Class Honours in Computing Science, specialising in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science. My studies ran from 2021 to 2025, building on an interest in AI that began in high school.
That background shapes how I approach engineering. I think about the data behind a model, how it learns, how to evaluate it and where it can fail. Working through machine-learning projects helped me connect the theory to practical decisions about representation, training and testing.
I bring that way of thinking into my work with agents: understand the underlying capability, then design the context, tools and checks that make it useful in a real workflow.
MY WHY
Raise the floor of AI literacy.
Learning about AI from high school through university made me want to improve how others experience it. I felt there was a better approach to project-based learning about how AI works, drawing on the way I had learned it myself.
That became a reason to start Ninnovate in November 2025 and build ML4Schools. I want students to have the opportunity to work with data, train models, test ideas and develop their own judgement about the results. My aim is to help raise the floor of AI literacy through experiences that make the concepts tangible.

Make difficult things approachable.
My experience in technology sales at JB Hi-Fi taught me the importance of listening, asking better questions and recommending a solution that fits the person. I carry that into software: understand what someone needs to do, then work out how technology can help them do it.
At Ninnovate, that means connecting the student experience to the teacher’s workflow and the systems behind both. It also means building tools for content creation, with validation and human review, so an agent’s work can become something people can inspect and use.
I’m motivated by that connection between technical depth and a clear human purpose. I want to understand the details well enough to make the experience simpler for someone else.
MY AMBITION
Build AI systems people can rely on.
I want to keep developing as an engineer at the intersection of applied AI, agent systems and product delivery. I’m particularly interested in the work that connects model capabilities to real applications: useful tools, dependable workflows and interfaces that people can understand.
I’m looking to contribute to teams where I can work closely with users, take ownership of technical problems and deepen my understanding of AI systems. Applied AI and solutions engineering appeal to me because they bring those things together: learning the problem, building the solution and seeing how it holds up in practice.
My ambition is to build software that makes advanced technology more useful and accessible, while continuing to grow the technical judgement needed to do that well.
Let’s build something useful.
Applied AI, thoughtful products and the systems behind them.
